What motivated you to join this year's 3 Shots Film Fest?
I believe the desire to just produce something, as well as the other film entries that made it to the top 20 in last year's festival, pushed me to return to the festival. Aside from that, the encouragement of my friends and family motivated me to re-join.
Tell us what inspired you to create this film?
The film was mostly inspired by the song "Sa Ugoy ng Duyan." The way the music conveys motherly warmth moved me, and it inspired me to design an idea based on the song, but with my own flair and style.
Share the challenges you have encountered and the learnings you discovered given the limitations.
Most of my works are created entirely by myself, which I regard as both a challenge and an advantage. It is difficult because I'm in charge of the entire filmmaking production. On the other hand, it is an advantage because I have complete creative control over the film. In my future projects, I would like to explore more opportunities for collaboration with other people while working on the film.
