Director's Statement
The three shots festival is a new avenue for us, young filmmakers, to challenge our storytelling and make sure that our narratives are still incorporated. It inspires me to create a narrative with its limited number of shots/scenes because it provokes our creativity to let it out.
Sa tanan nga adlaw (One of these last days), is a film that shows how closeted gays have a hard time exploring themselves and enjoying life the way they wanted, that’s why I want to show with these 3 shots the struggles, and how we can help in our little ways to provide safe space for them.
This film wants to show the juxtaposition between the male and the brassiere, as it constitutes one of the characteristics of femineity. My character wants to show that one of these days we can enjoy our narratives regardless of our identity.
